NEEDED – A few Great MMAP Volunteers!

          The Medicare and Medicaid Assistance Program (MMAP) is coordinated by the Area Agency on Aging of NW Michigan (AAANM) and serves our county.  MMAP is a free counseling service for individuals receiving Medicare and related services.  MMAP volunteers are highly trained and assist seniors and disabled individuals with their Medicare and Medicaid questions.  If you may be interested in serving as a MMAP counselor in your local area, please call Sue Graybill no later than Monday, August 13th at 1-800-442-1713 for more information.

                                                the “Annual Notice of Change” that you receive because it will tell you HOW YOUR Medicare Prescription Drug Plan will change beginning January 1, 2007

Did you Know?             That you MAY generally CHANGE your Medicare Prescription Drug Plan ONLY during the “Open enrollment Period” which is November 15, - December 31, 2006
