Resources for older adults and their families in Antrim,

agencies and organizations listed include adult day care, counseling,
housing, substance abuse treatment, respite care, health care, food programs,
veterans aid, and much more.

MICH. INFORMATION & REFERRAL SYSTEM
A personalized tool to find needed resources in this
region--food, shelter, legal assistance, medical facilities, child care, respite
care, etc. Persons in need of help or those assisting them can fill out an
anonymous and simple "Citizen Interview" which will then recommend
appropriate nearby agencies.

Agencies that provide services to seniors residing within a
geographic region. They generally are created through a governmental authority
such as a county commission. Included are these Region 10 counties: Antrim, Benzie, Charlevoix,
Emmet, Grand Traverse, Kalkaska, Leelanau, Manistee, Missaukee, and Wexford.

The Coalition is working within our community organizations

family members.
PRESCRIPTION HELP
Local and national programs to help those in need:
Grand Traverse Commission on Aging discount card, five-county Community Pharmacy
Program, and The Medicine Program.

MEDICARE/MEDICAID ASSISTANCE PROGRAM
A free counseling service for Medicare/Medicaid beneficiaries
and their caregivers. Advice on bills, insurance, coverage, claims,
prescriptions, etc.
LOCAL GOVERNMENT
